#16 DEWATA BEACH HOUSE

#16 Dewata Beach House is a newly renovated modern vacation home with contemporary flair located on heart of Dewata, Galle in the South Coast.

It’s a comfortable home with 5 air-conditioned full-sized bedrooms, each with attached bathrooms; solar-powered hot water; custom-made teak wood canopy beds with mosquito nets; and WiFi. It has a large balcony to enjoy the evening ocean breeze. There is a gourmet kitchen which flows into the dining room and living room flow.

Dewata surfing beach, a few min walk away, has become famous and is a center of surfing, restaurants and activities. You can enjoy the sunset, sunbathe on the beach or swim in smooth, soft waves. It’s the perfect place to learn to surf and surf rentals are available at the beach.

The central location makes it convenient for exploring the Galle area: 5 minute ride to Unawatuna, Jungle Beach and Galle Fort.

The Katugoda train station is around the corner and can take a day or a multi-day trip North to Colombo or Kandy; or South to Weligama, Matara, or beyond for a couple hundred Rupees.

It is also close to local restaurants, fresh fish markets, vegetable markets, and grocery stores (Food City) for the convenience of local living. You’ll feel at home in this welcoming neighborhood.
